that bothered me the most. I was trying to figure out what was wrong with her. I thought she had down syndrome or something all of a sudden. The film was chopped very badly. the girl that is interviewing him all of a sudden wants to know his story and then the random reason they kicked him out of the house because of some poor money issue. Heer screaming how he ruined her life by breaking into his house and then the police out of nowhere😆 and she starts screaming. her acting was so terribleOriginally posted by: masakaliii
Vikram I wholeheartedly agree with you. Rockstar was a horrendous depiction of a rock star - and for everyone who keeps going on and on about how it was actually a love story - it was an even worst depiction of love. Literally godawful. Nargis should quit and move out of india to save us all the torture - seriously. And WHAT chemistry? There was no chemistry between the two.
How the f**k can I be expected to buy into a movie if the two leads lack chemistry, and the heroine emotes like an idiot. Not to mention giant fail on Imtiaz's part. What kind of moronic script was that? So many loopholes, it barely made any sense. I thought the music was good (not Rahman's best but still one of the best albums of 2011) and the cinematography was great. I'd say Ranbir's performance was well done too. I don't know what sort of rockstar he was playing, but for what the script demanded he pulled it off quite well.In all honesty though even Katrina would resemble Tabu in front of Nargis's craptastic 'Heer'.I wrote my opinion of it here a while back:Memorable scenes that capture the terribleness of this film perfectly:- Ranbir BREAKING INTO Heer's house to say goodbye to her (W*F?)- The complete absence of documenting how Jordan suddenly became known all over India before even giving one valid concert - like they literally JUST flew him to Prague.- Any face Nargis made throughout the film to depict emotion- Heer's sister calling out to Ranbir in the middle of a concert about Heer's health -_-
