Actors earn money with every film..they don't have any fixed salaries..they do manage to earn bonuses from Ads and live performances..

Now the biggest taxpayer for the last 2 years is Akshay Kumar..this year he has more films than ever..he has not seen a hit since Housefull2...

An Actor's career gets choked when offers dry up..

where does his/her next paycheck come from..Yes a hit film can give him/her more jobs and keep his/her career going..

I feel over the years, Shahid Kapoor really has had long months of doing nothing..his case is the most worrying! An ordinary looking actor like Ranveer Singh has a Lootera,Magadheera remake and an SLB film waiting for him..BBB made 23 crores and LVRB 30+...so what does HE have that Shahid doesn't?Why are the makers not excited about him?

Abhishek Bachchan..has a Bol Bachchan, Dostana2 and Dhoom 3 ,Department coming up..3 of the films are potential blockbusters...like Saif (after DCH) he may suddenly see success again..who knows..he has the big films..and his chances are good to survive for another 3/4 years..

Sonam..she is not interested..Didn't she say she had 15 scripts lying around,which she couldn't be bothered to read!She is enjoying what she likes most..Fashion...

All apart from Salman, Ajay, Hrithik and Emraan havent had a clean hit in the last one year. So they dont really need hits immediately.

Akshay, SRK and Aamir need clean hits to consolidate their status and stay as leading men for another 5 years otherwise they will move to character roles like Sanjay Dutt. John and Shahid too need solo hits otherwise they will soon be forced to do only mutli starrers.

Imran, Ranbir and Ranveer need to give hits to stay in the race against one another.

Abhishek is one star who doesnt need hits at all as Bachchan surname is enough to get him work and media attention. Only SrB needs to have hits so that he leaves behind enough for JrB to fund his films.

Among the heroines only Katrina and Kareena dont need immediate hits. The rest of them need hits.

As of now, Shahid and Priyanka sorely need a hit each to get out of their career funk. If Shahid's next isn't a hit, his career is sure to be in tatters. Up to some extent, it already is but it's still not too late to bounce back from the funk unlike gone cases like Amisha Patel, Ashmit Patel or even Amrita Rao.

Akshay and the entire Desi Boyz gang need a hit too. They do have houseful 2 coming up and it looks positive so far but if that tanks, the going's gonna get tough for em.

A hit would do SRK some good too in keeping his "throne" intact.

Oh and not to forget Ranveer Singh from BBB. Ladies vs Ricky Bahl was an average grosser as far as I know and if he doesn't wanna fizzle out a la Asin, he needs to choose his movies wisely and while he's at it, keep a tighter rein over his mouth.

Although Deepika doesn't have that many hits under her belt either, something tells me that she'll survive by any means, legit or not.

The rest can afford to go on a cruise for a while.
