Iqbal Mir Sharma is not in a forgiving mood. The NRI who on Tuesday registered a complaint against actor Saif Ali Khan charging him with assault says, "The time to forgive Saif (Ali Khan) is over. Now, the law has to take its own course." Sharma, an executive chairman of ISSAR, and his father-in-law Dr Raman Patel, a doctor — both South Africa-based NRIs, allege that they were manhandled by Khan and his aides during dinner at Hotel Taj on Tuesday night when they asked him to keep it down. Recollecting the "nightmarish" incident, Sharma says, "We complained to the hotel management three times about the noise being raised at the neighbouring table. But, no action was taken. So, we decided to shift to the ground floor." While Sharma and Patel were moving away, Khan allegedly walked up to them and began abusing them. "He said I was being a spoilsport and taunted me by saying I should dine at the library if I wanted silence." Khan allegedly even threatened to kill Sharma and bragged about his social stature. The actor and three male aides then allegedly punched him on his nose, fracturing it. Two women also accompanied Khan and are believed to be girlfriend Kareena Kapoor and her sister, Karishma Kapoor. "I didn't know who they were till I learned about it on Wednesday from the media," adds Sharma. Khan and his aides also allegedly beat up Patel when he tried to intervene and save his son-in-law. Sharma claims that nobody came forward to help them. "Even the hotel management stood as mute spectators." While the two were getting out of the hotel some time later, 69-year-old Patel says, an accomplice of Khan, who was later identified as Shakeel Ladakhi, ran down and punched him and left him bleeding. Patel, who recently went through a bypass surgery and has a lung problem, adds, "The incident shows the value system to which he belongs. He showed no respect for a senior citizen. He has set a very bad example to society as a celebrity and a role model."

Btw now Saifeena have got another bahana to postpone their wedding after AV's release. They will say they we shall not marry till this case is closed. Then with the Indian legal system they can stay unmarried for the rest of their lives. 😆

Not entirely surprised by any of this. Saif has always been a pretentious, hot-headed narcissist but he's desperate to be seen as a civilised, sophisticate. The reality is that he is anything but. He was asked to keep it down in a public dining area and he blows his top? Disgraceful behaviour.

Just got back from Toronto to be welcomed by another round of Bollywood heroes playing the muscle-men?

I wonder how much of either sides of this story is true, but either way as the suppoesed "cultured sophisticated star" saif likes to be seen as this is definitely a step backwards as well as idiotic behavior in general.
