Not to forget the elder sister-younger brother chemistry between Kareena and Imran in the promos. Kareena seems to be seriously slacking in her job recently for reasons best known to her. Even her job in AV seems bad.

Precisely.

Everything about the film just seemed off. I'm so surprised that it actually was a GOOD film. Like one of the sweetest movies I've watched in a long time. And I'm glad people are sitting up adn taking notice. Shakun is something to look out for!

If it were as easy as a desi vibe and good music to get a good opening, then ZNMD was as 'videshi' as one could get and it's music was lackluster. The promos looked lame and HR was coming off double disasters. Still, it managed a great opening. Katrina has an uncanny hold on public psyche.. it's not so easy to pin any particular factor to explain how every movie she does comes out as a winner.
Coming to EMAET, I am glad to see KAreena is back to her real acting elements. I really hope I never ever have to see her do a BG or RaOne again.. she is too good of an actress for those kind of films.

I think Katrina has been chosing her movies and banners smartly in recent years. That apart she has a endearing screen presence in her romantic scenes and songs. I think most of the current lot of heroines come off as looking forced in their romantic scenes. Apart from Katrina only Vidya manages to bring in a desi twist to her chemistry with her costars.

She was never a "size zero"; it was her face that got emaciated when she tried to lose weight. If you only look at her figure in this song, you'll notice that it's similar with other slim divas like PC... PC never boasted that she's size zero! 🤔
