There are too many threads discussing, why did they do this?

Here, I am discussing... Did you ever wonder seeing an actor in a drama wondering, 'how did they get this'? for any reason?

I.E:

I always wonder, how Arjun Rampal got the role in We R Family. He wasn't among the best, yet he got a chance to act in a big movie opposite two of the biggest actors. =S

and Ayesha Takia in Wanted? Seriously, how ? The actress was nowhere to be seen, yet she was in the biggest hit of the year.(guaranteed hit) =S

wonder ? luck ?

I don't really get how Deepika got the role of Shantipriya in OSO. I mean I am not saying she is a horrible actress or anything but they were searching for an actress who had that kind of look the old actresses used to have like Hema..

Ask Farah...she saw Deepika in himesh's music video naam hai tera and she loved her in that video and casted her after doing a screen test. My first time seeing deepika was in that video too and that's how I became a fan

I thought she was perfect for the role

The way she danced was so graceful. In bollywood, I love dancers like Aish, Madhuri, Sridevi...with the newcomers, it's only deepika

I heard they offered that role to so many big stars like SRK and others but they turned it down because which hero wants to play a small role in a woman dominated movie...they have egos😆

Karan even said on 'Date with Family', he gave Arjun the role because it was a female centred film, focused on Kareena and Kajol...they needed the male actor to just be a support, someone who wouldn't overshadow the ladies :P
