I dunno about Drashti since I haven't seen her that much but I have doubts about Sanaya making it too. She's very pretty but...I just don't see her as a top actress. Prachi has been somewhat lucky because she's Ekta's BFF...but she won't ever really be considered of the same level as Kareena, Priyanka, etc.

Not everyone can be SRK or Vidya I feel.

But then again, she was a lesser known face. Plus, wasn't her debut role way after Hum Paanch ended? So, she was technically never really in the limelight like the actors they mention here...

As I said, it prolly has got to do something with the whole novelty factor with newcomers...

Btw Ronit Roy should be counted too though he will never be a leading man now. But he made a great comeback last year into BW winning all the best supporting actor awards.

Many supporting actors have been TV stars before they moved to films-Irfan Khan, Ranvir Shorey, Vinay Pathak are few of the names that come to my mind right now.

It's like a parent telling a kid, "beta, jaldi se so jao warna woh aa jaayenga." 😆

His entry in BW won't bother me as much, but the extra 2000 pounds of baggage that is always attached to him...yeah, that's indeed something to worry about.

though Rajeev Khandelwal isnt very famous , but all his movies gets great reviews from critics

About sanaya and DD, nope they may be good looking and can act, but they are not BW material for sure , Prachi worked only for K mata, and she is still struggling , look at fate of Anitha , Madam K once fav ,...
