Basically he is saying that he is a method actor like aamir khan. And not someone who relies on charm... or other stuff.. or star power like SRK and Salman. I think he is being earnest...He is not someone who is famous for his adaas, charm.. and i think he works hard on his characters and has his own distinct appeal. Whereas lets say a lot of actors have adapted their style from other actors..

he didnt say he is a bad actor per se- he says he is a bad actor because if he isnt in character, he cant act. like he cant stand and say dialogues spontaneously coz he isnt living the character at the time. some actors can do that but he cant just pretend like that. what he is referring to is the method by which he works. its nothing to do with humility or modesty
