I like that there is this actress who can actually talk about things outside of bollywood

and what movies she is acting in or which hair colour suits her or how much she is getting

paid.

what she says might irritate those who dont like her, but there are more young people out

there struggling with weight issues and the like, who will be really boosted by sonams

fighting weight issues and winning.l

also, sonam accepts and calmly states 'her competition' as Deepika, Anushka. I mean

no one can mistake those people and she accepts they are more stunning than her and

what a huge leap for an mainstream heroine, actually acknowledges it in public.

we dont get many of those do we. they woud rather die than acknowledge someone

else is better than them even if the whole world says so.

@ruky, gaining weight is harder then loosing , loosing requires Abit of self control on yourself and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, but gaining weight is harder as you can't physically force yourself to eat if your full anyway, why don't you try toning your body? Do weight resistance training, that will help you build mass/muscle and make you look more tone rather then skinny?

Thanks lifelicisious? For providing the links... She doesn't look as bad as zarine, kareen and that dabaang girl did when they were fat... She always had a slim face so I don't get why she was so depressed regarding her weight... I guess some are more sensitive then others?... I prefer the curvy types and zarine in character dheela was perfect! A voluptuous figure...

Anyways all this talk about weight! I'm in train, on my way back home after the killer exam and I will be eating lots of chocs to treat myself :D hehehehe

@ bold: This is offtopic..but just wanted to say I totally disagree. Losing weight is WAYYY harder than gaining. You can gain weight in a matter of days, can't say the same about losing weight. Losing weight requires way more motivation and persistence..and how many people actually wanna gain weight as opposed to lose weight? For example..Sonam herself said it took her 2 or so yrs to shed all that weight..I doubt it'd take her long to gain it all back. just saying...:-)

Sonam can be very humble and she can be very rude and blunt at times. Overall she is going for a Kareena kapoor kind of appeal in terms of her persona and interviews. In the first 7 flicks that bebo did she had 2 hits and in Sonam's first 7 she has one hit. She is definately a better entertainer offscreen than on... Her interviews always grab attention and that is what she wants. But only spicy interviews and no good performances?? People will get sick of her sooner or later.. if she will do nothing on screen... she needs a role where she stands out.. till now there isn't even one performance where she won over critics or anybody.
