Saif Ali Khan didn't show up!I don't think Parineeti attended.But she is not an A lister.

Award shows are big Bollywood parties.For the Industry it is a time to celebrate after making or losing hundreds of millions.After all the award functions just about everyone would have interacted with each other on a somewhat personal level.

We may be cynical but for them it is special.If one doesn't win this year,there is always the next time.

Why is Deepika winning the award receiving so many strong reactions? She was decent in Aarakshan. Last year the same award was won by Katrina for Tees Maar Khan! And Deepika's win is more deserving than Katrina's.

Not saying anything is fair though. SRK winning for Ra.One and Don 2 is like screaming that these awards are rigged. Lately most of the awards are rigged or pre-decided anyway. No more authenticity to them. Awards don't have the same credibility that they did 10 years ago. Every award function awards its favourites. So it's not a surprise really.
