Sonakshi Sinha's 'Chiknee kamar' in Rowdy Rathore
Sonakshi Sinha is all set to make her fans forget Chiknee Chameli with her very own fast paced folk song titled 'Chiknee kamar pe teri mera dil phisal gaya' in Rowdy Rathore. The song is sung by Sajid (Sajid-Wajid) and choreographed by Vishnu Deva (Bodyguard), Ganesh Achary's brother-in-law. It will be shot over four days starting Friday, January 13, in Hampi with a backdrop of old monuments and the rocks. There will be a large back up dancer group just like in Chiknee Chameli. "It's a fast-paced folk number, something like Chiknee Chameli and will have a lot of extras. Sonakshi has worked really hard on the song, rehearsing continuously for the last four to five days and has even lost some weight for it. The old monuments and the rocks in Badami will be a perfect setting for the song," Vishnu told TOI. Shabina Khan, co-producer of the film, says the brown and rustic back drop of Badami and Hampi goes very well with the film. The next schedule of Rowdy Rathore will be filmed in Badami and Hampi, the exotic historic temple towns of Karnataka. Filming will begin from Friday, January 13. It will be a one month schedule. Co-producer and designer Shabina Khan says:"I found the locations new for a Hindi film. I was looking for a brown, rustic look and I liked the colours in Badami as it works for my film."
