The media has been talking about the Karan-Ekta secret Love Story for years. The couple has faced many controversies because of their close relationship and strong bonding. In spite of all, Karan and Ekta have teamed up to produce a movie together. The movie is a romantic one with a twist. The film which will go on floors in 2012 will star two of the biggest Bollywood Stars
An upbeat and enthusiastic Karan said that Ekta has been a close friend for years and when she showed him the entertaining script, he had to be a part of it. Speaking about Debut Director Akash Roy, Karan said, "At Dharma, we believe in launching young talent".
Karan was all praises for Ekta and the new script. He concluded by saying that though the cast has not been finalized yet, two of the biggest Bollywood stars will be cast in it.
On the other hand, Ekta has praised Karan as one of the most prolific filmmakers of today! She has also credited Swati Shetty, the President of Balaji Films, for bringing her and Karan together to produce this exciting script. Ekta said, "The film is an urban take on love — it is quirky, edgy, dramatic and intense". She ended her thoughts on the upcoming project by saying that the casting of the film will take place in a week.
