Priyanka Chopra, who is back in town after shooting for Dharmesh Darshan's 'Aap Ki Khatir' in London, is surprised at reports that there were cold vibes between her and Amisha Patel on the sets of the film.

'Let me tell you, I have never had any problems with any of my co-stars. I pride myself on getting along with most of my co-stars. True, Amisha and I didn't socialise after pack-up. But we got along well on the sets,' Priyanka told IANS in an interview.

In fact, Priyanka described Amisha as 'very, very sweet' and said the two played word games together while waiting for our shots.

Priyanka and Amisha play affectionate stepsisters in the film.

Apparently, the actress is going through rigorous training for her next film 'Don', a remake of 1978 super hit, and took her physical trainer to London as well.

When asked her about her 'annoying' training sessions on the sets, she said: 'I was using my time after shooting. How did it affect anyone?'

Excerpts from the interview:

Q: How was the experience of working with Dharmesh Darshan?

A: It was fabulous. That man knows his cinema and how to use it. All of us had a ball, except that it was minus five degrees where we were shooting in Ludlow (on the outskirts of London). The climatic conditions were unbearable. And I had to wear chiffons and skirts for the camera. I'd do the shots in the freezing cold, rush to the car and turn on the heater on full.

A month of blowing cold and blowing hot has taken its toll on my health. I'm down with a fever. But there was such warmth among us - Akshaye Khanna, Dino (Morea), Amisha (Patel), Anupam (Kher), Lilette (Dubey). Except Suniel Shetty, whom I had worked with before, all the team was new to me.

I had great fun. And whatever we have shot has turned out really nice. I love the outdoors. But I also love to come home. It's then that the 'hectivity' really hits you.

Q: What's 'hectivity'?

A: A word I coined for hectic activity.

Q: Was Dharmesh the right director for you?

A: Very right. Though I hadn't worked with him before, I had worked with his brother Suneel and Dharmesh used to be around. He was very supportive when I began my career. He was very good at extracting performances.

It was a load of fun shooting for 'Aap Ki Khatir'. It's not at all a typical Dharmesh Darshan film. It's very much in keeping with how you look at life today. Dharmesh was open to ideas and suggestions. Akshaye is a fantastic actor. I had a great time emoting with him.

I also worked with Amisha for the first time. She's very, very sweet. We used to play word games together while waiting for our shots.

Q: But according to a story Amisha and you fought like cats and kittens?

A: Are you out of your mind? Where did that come from? Let me tell you, I have never had any problems with any of my co-stars. Whether it's Lara (Dutta) in 'Andaaz' or Bebo (Kareena Kapoor) in 'Aitraaz', I have never had stress with any of my co-stars. I guess it makes a lot of news to pitch two female stars against each other.

Though mind you, we never read about two male stars fighting with one another. I pride myself on getting along with most of my co-stars. True, Amisha and I didn't socialise after pack-up. Right after shooting I was with my physical trainer getting trained for 'Don'. But we got along well on the sets.

Q: Apparently your training for 'Don' got on people's nerves?

A: I was using my time after shooting. How did it affect anyone?

Q: What else did you catch up with in Britain?

A: Nothing. Between shooting and training for 'Don' I had no time for anything. What to do? A girl has gotta do what she's gotta do. In the last three years I have had no time for anything but work.

Q: What about normal activities like boyfriends, dates and pubs?

A: What makes you think I don't enjoy what I am doing? As for a boyfriend, I haven't found a person to whom I'm willing to give that amount of time and attention. I'd rather give my entire self to my work.
