Another Deol on the block

Dharmendra and Hema Malini's younger daughter is ready to take the plunge into Bollywood. Yes, Ahana Deolis working hard and learning all the tricks of the trade to turn director soon.

It was a chance meeting with this beautiful girl that we got the following information about her intention.

Ahana is currently busy writing the script of her maiden venture. This shy but observant girl discloses, "I am just working on my script right now and honestly, it will take me another two years to start my project. I have still to learn a lot about all the technical details. I am so raw and still learning various technicalities (smiles)."

So is she going to make a love story or a family drama? She says, "My film will be about real life experiences!" That is all she is willing to disclose as she insists that it is too early to talk about her film.

Meanwhile, sources close to the family reveal that Ahana will be assisting mom Hema Malini for a while and then may go to New York to do a quick course in direction. It will be early 2007 when she will go in for her film, fully equipped with the technical expertise and experience under the guidance from mom.

Ahana has always maintained that she wasn't interested in the acting department but soon papa and mama will be proud when she turns director and wields a megaphone saying, "Lights, camera and action!"
