Black was the colour of the evening at the 51st Fair One Filmfare awards on Saturday

Best actor : Amitabh Bachchan for Black
Best Film : Black
Best Director : Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Black
Best Actress : Rani Mukherji for Black

The critic's awards for the abovementioned categories also went to Black. Needless to say, Sanjay Leela Bhansali was one happy man at the end of the evening.

Where there's a dance floor, there's Will!

Apoolside party in honour of Hollywood actor Will Smith on Thursday night could almost have been mistaken for a dance jig. But then, when the chief guest himself gets the night grooving with a live performance of his hit song 'Switch', it wasn't surprising that all the guests present let go of their inhibitions and got jiggy with Will.
Kunal Dasgupta played host, showing Will around, while all and sundry danced the night away to Bollywood hits and Will's chartbusters. 'Twas a pleasant change to see Reshma Bombaywala and Suchitra Pillai in saris instead of Western wear, and believe us, they looked just as stunning! Former model Shyla Lopez seems to be partying quite a bit before leaving for Moscow to get married. DJ Aqeel had a whale of a time watching the live performance, instead of being behind the DJ console. Others present included a host of television stars, singers and models. And despite the madding crowd, it wasn't difficult to keep a track on Will... after all, he's over six feet tall!

• WE 'WILL' ROCK YOU! Ashish Raheja and Hemanth Meka Rao were overheard having a 'friendly' argument over... well, Will himself ! "I can't believe I saw him!" Hemanth was overheard saying, to which he got a repartee, "Awesome!"

• CAMERA FRIENDLY! The guests simply couldn't get enough of Smith, so they recorded him dancing on their camera phones! Did we hear someone say technology ain't a good thing?!

• DIL BOLE OH MY! OH MY! What was Anaida thinking when she walked in wearing a long, much-too-colourful skirt that looked exactly like a, well, quilt!
