Dhanush is married to Aishwarya not to Saundarya! And Aishwarya is older than him by a year or so! (And so much prettier too! God knows what she saw in this joker and more importantly how on earth Rajni agreed for the match!)

Aishwarya and Saundarya are Rajnikanth's two daughters...Aishwarya is the older one married to this Kolaviri chap and the younger one is married to some businessman.

There were some rumors of an affair between Aishwarya and Simbu before her marriage to Dhanush!

Actually, Simbu and Aishwarya were childhood friends or something to that effect and he was madly in love with her and wanted to marry her! But Rajnikanth's wife (Aishwarya's mother) vehemently opposed the match (dunno why) and hence Aish went to marry Dhanush and broke Simbu's heart!

This Simbhu chap is somewhat like our Sallu Bhai...the bad boy of Tollywood! No wonder Rajni's wife was so opposed to the match!

Simbhu later went on to make a film about lovers cheating based on his rumored affair with Aishwarya!😆

I can see where Nihal Pandya got his inspiration from!

I like this song, it's funny, easy to remember and the tune also goes well with this type of signing. If bollywood can have songs like Munni badnam, Shiela ki Jawani, Jalebi bai which make no sense and are superhits then what is so wrong in Kolaveri Di?

The beauty of this song it's quite realistic because in a movie an ordinary boy signing poetic lyrics doesn't make any sense. This is simple and anyone who listens to it can understand what the singer is trying to say.

I honestly find it funny in Indian cinema when all the characters break into perfect songs with great lyrics and music so I definetly applaud Dhanush for bringing something different to the table.

He is nothing great. A south Indian actor his was in the movie Vinnaithandi Varuvaayaa. That movie is remake is Ek Dewaana Tha.
