You may be familiar with the small screen's Sasha (Chetan Hansraj) from Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki but there is another one on the big screen too.

This Sasha is a NRI model-actress who featured with Aseem Merchant and Iqbal Khan (Angad of Kaisa Yeh Pyar Hai) in Bullet. She's on the party circuit with eyes firmly set on the marquee. Sasha is now doing south films and music videos.

"What more can I ask for since I am already Destiny's sweetheart as Valentine's Day happens to be her birthday," she said during her birthday party at Amnesia, The Leela, with film folk which included Aryan Vaid, Babul Supriyo, Vikas Kalantri who came with model-turned-actress Anokhee.

But what caught our discerning eye was apna Laughter Challenge finalist Raju Shrivastava who couldn't stop beaming after Sasha's friendly peck on his cheek!

Preity Zinta who is brand ambassador for TVS Scooty Pep Plus, gifted Pooja Badola from Dehradun a unique Scooty Pep after she won the Make Your Splash Contest.

The contest, conducted at Cafe Coffee Day outlets across India required participants to either colour or design their own Scooty. Priety, along with well known artist Nupur Kundu and winner Pooja, then used their skills on a canvas to create the colours for the new age woman.

The painting was to be put up on sale for a sum of Rs 1,00,000, and the proceeds from the sale were to be donated to the Akanksha Foundation. Preity Zinta bought the painting she helped make. What's the big deal, Preity? Scared of artistic criticism?

During the shooting of the song Banale Tu Mujhe Dulhan in Chingaari, which releases today, Sushmita Sen had tears in her eyes. The song plays during the wedding of a prostitute named Basanti - played by Sushmita Sen.

There are rituals involved while making her "pure" by making her bathe in milk and smearing haldi all over her body.

The actress got so caught up during the filming of the song that she ended up crying. During another scene, the actress confesses, "I cried so hard that Kalpana (Lajmi) had to send me home." And we thought this Bengali tigress could only make others cry.

Mithun and Mimoh: No-no

For all those who loved Amitabh and Abhishek together in Sarkar and Bunty Aur Babli and are hoping to see more father-son jodis together, here's a treat — Feroz Khan and Fardeen Khan will be seen in the director's remake of Qurbani.

But one baap-beta jodi that the audiences won't be seeing together soon on screen is Mithun and his son Mimoh. Why? Because it is papa Chakraborty's conscious decision. " I won't be sharing screen space with Mimoh in the near future. I don't want him to share the credits with me. I want him to fight his own battles." Bravo Mithun!

Palak kills Pranjal Karisma Tanna and Abhay Vakil In yet another twist in the lives of daily soaps, there's a murder happening on a show. In Zee's Paalkhi Palak (Karisma Tanna) will be shown bumping off one of the evil twins – Pranjal (Abhay Vakil). The murder has apparently been shot aboard a ferry. We know that Abhay Vakil has been shooting for the show inspite of his constant back ache, so was this murder incorporated to perhaps make life easier for him by playing not two but just one character?
