After the rather non-happening, U BOMSI AND ME, which went unnoticed at the box-office amidst the big films released around the same time, ad-man turned film director, Jairaj Padmanabhan, has decided to make an out and out commercial Hindi film that will appeal to both the masses and classes. "U, BOMSI AND ME gave the impression of being a film for the intelligentsia. The audiences refused to come to the theatres because they could not connect to the title of the film and its classy look in the promos. This time I am trying to ensure that the audiences make it a point to come to the theatres," Padmanabhan reveals.
He has just finished writing a Hindi comedy, for which he is currently holding talks with two banners. There is also another English film to be made on an international scale, which is in the offing. "I am on talks with a few production houses for these films," he reveals.
