By Nidhi Pathak, Bollywood Trade News Network
Sameera Reddy- the dusky beauty from South, who set the screen on fire by her oomph in the various movies like DARNA MANA HAI, PLAN and MUSAFIR first featured in the music video of Pankaj Udhas's romantic song "Ahista keejia batein" as her debut performance. She gracefully stepped-in Bollywood with her debut feature film – Sohail Khan's MAINE DIL TUJKO DIYA, where she portrayed a role of low-profile girl - fully clad in ethnic.
But no sooner she was tagged as the sex-siren of the industry with her breakthrough performance in the film MUSAFIR, which has steaming intimate scenes with her co-star Anil Kapoor. It seems that this sex-siren has lots to offer her fans, let's find out…
Glamsham.com catches up with the sultry Sameera on her forthcoming project TAXI NO.9211, which again promises to have a steamy song creating romantic magic by Sameera and the most desirable man of Bollywood John Abraham. And of-course in this season of love, we definitely grilled the southern spice of Bollywood about her valentine.
Metre down with TAXI NO.9211
Turning down the metre of TAXI NO.9211 and describing her joyride of the filmmaking with her companions, she said, "The taxi takes all the characters of the film to the bumpy ride with lots of thrill, excitement, suspense, a bit of action and undoubtedly it also has a comic punch. We all had fun while the making of the film."
Rapport with co-stars…
Sharing her experience while working with the team of TAXI NO.9211, Sameera said, "I had great time working in this film, to be specific enough it was kind of a workshop for me as I shared the frame with the most talented actors like Nana Patekar, Sonali Kulkarni and of course John Abraham. Working with Milan Lutharia was great experience. And I must say the chemistry between John-Nana is amazing"
Did cupid's love-arrow, struck Sameera's heart???
Grilling Sameera about her plans for celebrating Valentine's Day, on a blushing limerick she said, "I am still searching Mr. Right for my love interest. As such we have busy schedule, so no special plans for V-Day not even with close friends (she shrugs off)."
Love is the most undefined term, which is defined in numerous ways.
Quizzing her more on defining love, she conceitedly said, "Love has various forms and mannerisms. But above all it should be sustained with the sense of responsibility and of-course with underlying commitment within the relationship. I genuinely feel that the present generation lacks these factors, which are most important for the survival of love."
Sameera's 1st crush…
My first crush was Salman Khan. Yes, for which I watched MAINE PYAR KIYA 16 times. I was at an age when you don't know what love and infatuation is all about. You just seem to get carried away. I used to come back from school, throw my bag and sit and watch his film. My family was fed up with me. As he was a family friend, once my parents surprised me by inviting him on my birthday. I was so excited that I dressed up in a glittery velvet gown. But finally when I met him, I was speechless as he charmed me. He was his usual self and treated me like a kid. My crush lasted for ballpark one and a half year."
