Sush's firang fan

Producer David Roma and Sushmita Sen
As the joint Bollywood and Hollywood production, Karma Confessions and Holi readies for a release, producer David Roma has been making frantic trips to Mumbai to ensure the smooth functioning of the post-production work.

Shot in New York and its suburbs, the plot revolves around a family that make confessions about their deeds the night before a holy festival and the events that get spiraled after the confession. When quizzed about the sentiments the film portrays, Roma could barely conceal admiration for Sushmita Sen.

She has done an amazing job. She is so vivacious and feisty." The Sush factor again. But let's not forget the cast also includes Sush's baby Randeep Hooda, Suresh Oberoi, Rati Agnihotri, Suchitra Krishnamoorthi and Deepal Shaw. And guess who played her tour guide?

"Suchitra. She took me to restaurants and even to Chor Bazaar where I have picked up a few handicraft items." She must've have had practice, we are sure she has done that umpteen time with hubby Shekhar's firang friends.

Jaya: Behave, Abhishek

Jaya Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan
Even though the Star Screen awards are over, there is still enough
buzz surrounding the event. Not so much about the winners, but over the off-screen chemistry between Rani Mukerji and Abhishek Bachchan.

One didn't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out what's brewing between the two. Not only did Rani run down the stage with her award to hug Abhishek but they also kept exchanging SMSes even though they were sitting close-by.

We hear that this behaviour of the young blood didn't go down too well with mama Bachchan and she later on warned Abhi to be careful next time he's in front of the cameras. Should JB have practiced what she preaches? We noticed the icy vibes and the cold shoulder she gave Rani at the same function? It got caught on camera too, mama Bachchan!

New home for Kumkum's Krish

Pankkit Thucker
Pankkit Thucker (Krish of Kumkum) is in the process of moving into his brand new address at Malad, the hub of small screen folk.

Presently he is based in Borivili and will shift to his new flat in the next few months as soon as the interiors are done up. He is pretty excited about his new home and is getting it done up just the way he wants.

Pankkit was earlier seen as Ajay in the Star One drama, Special Squad. As Krish, who is Sumeet's (Hussain) cousin in the Star Plus afternoon soap, he has just acquired a love interest in the soap in Kamiya (played by Dimple Inamdar).

Incidentally, the numerologically correct spelling of Thucker has been modified by the actor himself. He has learnt the science, so there was no need for him to consult anyone.
