| 'Saanj Mohabatane De', directed by Thakur Tapasvi and produced by Punjab's Minister for Culture Dr Raj Kumar Verka, is gearing to be shot in Lahore and Amritsar. Even the film's star cast is a bilateral affair - while the Pakistani actors include Muammar Rana, Irfan Khorshet and Sanaa, the Indian actors include well-known Punjabi actor Satinder Sati, with Akshay Kumar making a guest appearance. "It is an attempt to bring the two countries closer. We have applied for the necessary permissions to shoot in Lahore and Amritsar, which should come through any time now. The shoot will commence from February," says Thakur Tapasvi. The film is scheduled to release in April this year. |
