Your background?
I am from Delhi and am in Mumbai to make it in films. I stay in a rented apartment in Versova. Govinda is a personal friend. I can walk up to him and take his help. But I want to make it on my own. I have done acting classes under Kishore Namit Kapoor. Keshu Ramsay's son Aryeman and Kunal Kapoor (also in R DB) are good friends of mine.

Any other films?
I met Ram Gopal Varma and had been selected for Shabri. Then I got a call from his office saying they were going ahead with someone else, as I looked very young. Then, Antara Mali was doing the role, which Ishaa Koppikar is doing now.

How did RDB happen?
I had left my pictures at Rakeysh Mehra's office. They called me for an audition. Mehra was present at my audition. A few days later, they called to say that I had been selected.

Your first shot?
It was with Aamir. He gave me lots of tips. RDB has been a great learning experience. Very few lucky people in this industry who get to work with Aamir in their very first film.

Your most difficult scene?
A scene where I am hanging outside a coal train. There was a lot of coal flying into my eyes. It was difficult.

Does Aamir interfere at shoots?
I don't think Aamir interferes with the script. Mehra was quite clear of what he had conceived and wanted.

Have you done any TV?
I have done TV serials before- Rihaaee and Kesar. But my final goal is films. Some film producers have advised me not to do television anymore, they say 'you will get wasted in television and no one will give you work on the big screen.'
