Provogue gal Minissha Lamba has landed a big one. She has signed up with a popular US-based cosmetic giant that is plunging into the Indian market this month.

She is understandably excited about this brand endorsement. "I was literally on cloud nine when they revealed that they were considering me. Neutrogena has a brand ambassador in almost every country across the globe and now I'm the Indian face of this noted brand of skincare products," she says.

My new assignment

We hear that the actress had stressed on a weeklong first-hand usage of a range of products before turning up for the photo shoot. She was readily obliged with a hamper including a cleanser, toner and moisturiser, which saw a beaming Lamba heading for her commitment a week later.

She says, "My own satisfaction was of primary importance. Unless and until you are convinced about the quality of the product it's difficult to woo prospective buyers. I must say that I have been left raving and this is not because I'm promoting it."

Talking about the benefit of endorsing leading brands, Lamba says, "Money is the last thing on my mind. What pulls me to these brand endorsements is the visibility I get in return. I'm a newcomer in the industry without any sugar daddies or a godfather. So I have to put together my act in terms of positioning myself and establishing my worth."

Bipasha's my idol

Coming to her Bolly projects the actress has been shooting for Madhur Bhandarkar's Corporate. Lamba admits teaming up with co-star Kay Kay Menon to add to the agony of co-star Sammir Dattani.

She says, "We bully Sammir all the time. Now he squirms when he sees Kay Kay and me even looking at him. The other day we were shooting for a party scene and we made plans to throw him in the pool. But he got the wind of it and we spared him thinking that the poor boy would've caught a cold."

Star-struck kid

The next big thing is Raj Kaushal's One Night In Bangkok (tentatively titled) where Lamba has been paired opposite funnyman Arshad Warsi and has Sanjay Dutt as her other co-star. The plot revolves around a small-time con-artist (Arshad) who juggles his life between all the messes he finds himself in.

"It's going to be a start-to-finish schedule in Bangkok and it's a romantic comedy again with elements of a thriller. We are leaving for Bangkok on February 20. I can't believe I'm going to share the frame with Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi as during my growing years I have fed on their films."
