Buzz is that 'Just Dance' will wrap up way before schedule

Touted as one of the most expensive show on Indian television, Just Dance was launched amidst much fanfare and huge expectations.

The cost of each episode was said to be between Rs 3.5-4 crore. But, alas, the show has not been able to garner the kind of viewership as was expected.



The main attraction of the show dancing sensation Hrithik Roshan and its celebrity choreographers Farah Khan and Vaibhavi Merchant have surprisingly not been able to draw in the fans with their judging skills.

Unable to acquire enough ratings, Just Dance will wrap up by October, supposedly a good three weeks before schedule.

Of course, this could also be due to Hrithik's busy schedule he is shooting for Agneepath and has not been able to give Just Dance enough of his time.

Interestingly, the channel has tried its level best to make the show popular. Celebrity judges like Katrina Kaif and Govinda were roped in to push the TRPs.

The next episode will see TV actors Sushant Singh Rajput, Neha Marda, Sayantani Ghosh, Mouni Roy and Shaleen Bhanot promoting the top six contestants.

Buzz is the show will be replaced by Survivor India, a reality show. Shot mostly in Phillipines, it will have 11 celebrities competing with an equal number of commoners.

The one who maintains his/her grit will be announced the ultimate survivor and win the finale.

The celebrities in the show include Aditya Redij, Payal Rohatgi, JD Majethia, Karan Patel, Karishma Tanna and Munisha Khatwani amongst others.

Star Plus spokesperson Parull Sharma rubbished the rumours. "This is completely false. The show is doing fine and is on schedule. I wonder who is spreading these stories, which I suspect is done with a wrong purpose."

Hritik is a great dancer and all but really, I mean really, he is the most boring bollywood actor ever. His interviews are a snoozefest, his sense of humour falls flat and yeah. He's a nice guy in general but does not excite me at all. Sucks that his show flopped.

i find Farah and Vaibhabi more interesting than Hrithik... yikes he is such a bore and WANNABE in the show

This show really bores me...Farah and Vaibhavi fawning over HR is super annoying and HR just doesn't seem genuine with the contestants.

Why am I not suprised. Hrithik looked too put on to me. The dramatic music praisy contestants who'd ride his collars like Jet Skis the duelling Banjoes sound.

the show is sooo borringgg...im waiting for it to be over...the low trps are probably y they are bringing hrithik to both episodes starting next week. ive only seen the episode with shahid and a few bits from other episodes but it is so boring.. depsite the high budget the production value looks horrible. the new look that they used in both this show and the last comedy show on starplus sucks..i mean the camera lens/lights and stuff that they use are making everything look so dull and fuzzy...cant really put my finger on the exact problem but the look of the show is way offf...hoping for survivor or masterchef to start. they shuld have done the next nach baliye instead of just dance.

I so agree with everyone because when I watched this show I didn't realise it'll be that bad I mean Vaibhavi and Farah are so much better than Hrithik...you know what annoys me is when he speaks Hindi but it sounds as if he's using an accent as well and well...he speaks with an accent speaking English anyway LOL but still...the show sucks big time. Yeah he's an amazing dancer but judge on this show...🤢
