John: I am enjoying being single

John Abraham is back in the limelight with Force, an action-thriller, which has Genelia D'Souza as his lady love. The stud talks about the film, future projects, the single life, and more.

Force
Force is an action-thriller. When I watched Kaakha Kaakha, the Tamil version, I was quite amazed. I feel lucky that my directors and producers offered me the film, because I always wanted to do an action-packed film like this. It has a love story and solid action.

Training
We did a lot of training before we started shooting because my director Nishikanth wanted some hardcore, intense action. With my action director Allan Amin, I worked hard to get the scenes right. And we have done some really raw action like lifting a bike, chasing a moving train, and a lot more. It was difficult and risky too, but we rehearsed well. I enjoyed doing the action scenes.

Genelia D'Souza
I worked with her for the first time, and it was great! She is very sweet and innocent. She is like a college-going kid.

Being single
Oh! Much has been talked about it already but, yes, I am enjoying my singlehood. Now, I am only concentrating on my career. I am working out more, spending time with friends and family, and concentrating on my work these days.

Future projects
After Force, I have Desi Boyz with Akshay Kumar, for which I am shooting currently. It's a fun movie, and it is always great to share the screen with Akshay. It's a comedy directed by Rohit Dhawan, son of David Dhawan. He has a great sense of humour, which you can see in the film. Desi Boyz will release towards the end of November. Sajid Khan'sHousefull 2 will release next year. Next will be Shootout At Wadala - a sequel to Shootout at Lokhandwala. There is another film produced by Shrishti Arya as well. So, I am quite busy for a couple of years.

Force is directed by Nishikanth Kamath, and is all set to release on 30th September, 2011.

Bipasha: Shahid is a sweetheart

Bipasha Basu is all over the place these days. The Bong bombshell has a mind of her own, and is not afraid to voice her beliefs. She talks about her next, Players, other movies, John, Shahid, Ranbir, and more.

Players
My next big release will be Players with Abhishek Bachchan, and we had a great time shooting for the film. It's a thriller-cum-action film, where I have also done some stunts. It's a multi-starrer film. While shooting for Players in different locations, we all had a great time. We were away from home for almost three months, and the entire team became like a family.

Abbas-Mustan
If Abbas Sir or Mustan Sir call me to shoot in the middle of the night, I will be there, because they are my mentors and have given me hits like Ajnabee and Race. They know what I can do well, so they always try to extract the best from me. This is also true for other actors.

Rumours
I have known Ranbir since the past 5 to 6 years, so I don't need to know him more. I liked the promos of Rockstar, so what? You link me with Ranbir? However, I don't know Shahid Kapur in that way. We have met a few times, but I don't really know him. I am getting to know him now, but that doesn't mean I am dating him or that he is trying to woo me. Both Ranbir and Shahid are sweethearts and very good friends of mine, so I don't care what the rest of the world thinks about us. My parents know that I am in good company.

Jealous? (What if John dates someone else?)
Huh? Why will I be jealous? That chapter is over, and I am not interested in talking about someone else's life. The rest can do what they want.

Competition
Yes, I do believe in competition, but with myself and not with anyone else. Today, there are so many actresses, and everyone is doing well. Everybody comes with their own destinies and talents. I really care about doing good work, and care for the feedback of the audience.

Movies
I am very busy now with Players, Raaz 3, Singularity, and Shyam Benegal's film. Each film is different from the other. I am working with the Bhatts after a while, and we have to live up to the expectations people have from the franchise.Singularity is an international project. Shyam Benegal's film will have a lesson, and it will be entertaining. Players is a fun and stylish thriller.

Players is releasing on December 9, 2011.
