Doubt they both "loved" each other..merely just attracted to each other because (as Ranveer said himself) they spent loads of time together for a year or so..bound to happen then. However, Ranveer seems to have a lot of admiration for Anushka...which is quite sweet. Saying not having a person like Anushkha around leaves a big void basically depicts that admiration. I can believe that though, from whatever I've noticed (through her interviews & appearances)..Anushka seems like a genuine, down to earth, perky person (which is quite rare in bollywood)..which I'm sure makes her nice to be around.

I liked his interview he was honest, its sad that him and Anushka drifted apart but from his interview you can see how much he respects her.
