What is with this profession

Ok m gonna post questions which have left me 😕

Firstly whats in those stars that make people act so bizarre, cuss other people , get into arguements ,debates about people whom we dont even know...

Have they paid you to do that? Are they your relative?

They belong to the same species (except few😉) and just entertain us.

even magicians do, jugglers do,jokers do too

Actors dont do something that we cant live without ..

Being fan of their work is a different thing but seriously I see no point in bashing a person who criticised your so called fav actor.

Secondly Why the farmer is of lesser worth than a superstar actor?Why a star is paid so much when all he does is **acting** and entertain whereas a farmer(or a food company) provides food to many

Engineers doctors lawyers teachers tailors are wayyy more important than actors...

I am not jealous or anything but it just so weird and I see no logic of paying such hefty amount to an actor.

What do u guys say?

I agree with you 10000000000000000000000000 %. These so called "stars" are nothing worth fighting for. Why the eff does our society put them on a pedestal???

well, a lil correction firstly, actors dunt get paid much...stars do. People like nassiruddin shah, om puri, shabana azmi get paid peanuts compared to the likes of srk, aamir, katrina etc...and its fair enough that way because these people are the ones who give the movie its box office collections and fill the producer's pocket...so its only fair that they get paid equally for their crowd pulling capabilities...they are the ones who are making the film earn in the first place, thereby enabling the 300+ people who worked on the film to earn their bread n butter..

as for the profession is concerned, yes they do figure in the bottom of everyones priority lists...however, films are an important part of the society in india...its a way of bonding with friends, family members, a way of celebration during festive occasions,a way to destress from daily activities,a distraction from all the unpleasant things happening in our lives...considering the stressful lives that everyone has today, ppl back home can really do with a nice film every weekend to destress and spend time with family and friends. It gives them something to look forward to.

People love to relax and get away from their daily activities..and thts exactly the kind of opportunity that films and actors give them.

I think I read an article about Extras in films...poor things I feel so bad for them...They've to struggle so hard when they are old...

oh ya btw no way I am saying that gas price or food item prices should rise...😆

CLOSE the forum then, what's the use of this FORUM if Talking about Fav. Actor is not a point. Criticism of Work is Different, Fun Bash is Different...

It is said many times over here as STARS won't even know who is saying BAD about them on any Online forum or who is defending them... in this case y 2 even BASH any STAR when he/she will never know about this...THIS thing is never said to people who enjoy bashing Stars, but ya all kind of right left will occur if any Fan Defends...😆

Very idealistic post. 😆

They get paid more because they entertain you. As humans, we put value in entertainment because frankly what else do we live for? Everyone's main goal in life is to attain happiness. Entertainment provides exactly that. A farmer or a sabziwala does not entertain you, he simply makes his living.

Stars dont even care ...n we spent eons defending them..

Wht we see is what they want us to see (personally or professionally)

I am not saying dont discuss bollywood or people belonging to that industry.My questions are not exactly that..

See here is the answer... People have many problems in life, every day life is tuff... so when they come to this forum, they need something 2 entertain themselves to get a Relief... So they bash actors, have fun and then forgets when they sign off... same goes for fans, they come in forums, talk about their fav. star, then they also go buzy with life after log off...

I don't think whatever we argue in this forum makes a difference in anybody's life... the moment we all logoff everybody goes to the Real Life world...

o jaar y is this comparison coming... LIFE is different... People's needs are different...

A Film is watched by More than Million people all over the world, so Revenue is generated in big amount, so it is according to this equation Stars are paid more...

Different profession Different Income source...
