Prachi Desai to shed clothes for Bhatt's next!

Working with the Bhatts comes with a prerequisite condition — the female lead has to be bold enough to do what the role demands.

While a few actresses' careers got made all thanks to the Bhatts some failed to cash in on the fame.

Actor Mallika Sherawat shot to fame with Murder opposite Emraan Hashmi and more recently, Jacqueline Fernandes has been the talk of the town for her bold portrayal in Murder 2. Now actor Prachi Desai has been signed up to play the lead opposite Emraan Hashmi in The Informer.

Prachi and Emraan have earlier worked together in Once Upon A Time and though they shared good chemistry, Prachi had put her foot down and refused to lock lips with the kisser boy, even as their director Milan explained how crucial the scene was to the film.

She didn't budge from her stand and got away with it. But now it looks like she will have to alter her stand for the Bhatt's film.

The Bhatts have strictly told her that she will have to loosen up and shed all her inhibitions if she wants to be in the film. She will also have to give up on her no-kissing clause.

A source close to the actor says, "Prachi has played demure roles so far and nothing controversial has ever happened in terms of her look. She has played the girl-next-door roles but now she has agreed to undergo a complete image makeover. But this makeover has been gradual and not just for this film. For quite sometime she has been talking about changing her look and going bolder. She had also done a bare-all photo shoot recently, which is one of the first few steps towards changing her image."
The Bhatts too are happy with the way Prachi has been responding to their requests.

A source from the Bhatt camp says, "Prachi has been asked to change from her conservative image and come out of her shell. Besides doing a few bold scenes and wearing revealing clothes, she may also have to lock lips with Emraan Hashmi. While she hasn't expressed any concerns as of now, we aren't sure if she is ready to kiss Emraan."
