Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, which was made on a budget of Rs 55 crores, has collected Rs 108 crores (gross) after the first 10 days of its release!
However, Hrithik's career has been no less than a seesaw ride. From tasting immediate success at the box office with a sparkling debut inKaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, to facing the drought with duds like Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon and Guzaarish, Hrithik Roshan has seen it all.
If we rewind the clock 2 years back and analyze Hrithik Roshan's last three movies before ZNMD, i.e Luck By Chance, Kites and Guzaarish, the picture is not too pleasing! All the three movies could not manage to entertain any of these - the box office, the audiences, and the critics.
In fact, after the failure of Guzarish some critics even declared that if in spite of Hrtihik Roshan's formidable performance in the movie the audiences are not interested in visiting the theatres, then it clearly means that he does not have what it takes to pull the crowd in.
But, with the success of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Hrithik has proved that you just cannot rule him out and he can still create a stir at the box office. Currently, Hrithik Roshan has two big budget films in his kitty, withAgneepath and Krrish 2 set to release in 2012.
Well, as a Hrithik Roshan fan, I am happy that his career has touched the crest again. And we hope that his upcoming movies hit the bull's eye and become huge hits; so that Hrithik ko success mile dobara. Wink.
