the ease of the friendship between guys who realistically were like one of our actual clicks of friends who are so different from each other yet are best friends..one was cocky n overconfident, one flaky n cute n the other one was mature and sensible beyond his years..we are also like that between friends..an interesting blend..
then Aamir Preity chemistry was amazing!
Saifu was adorable..
Akshay - Dimple story was so unexpected n a hindi movie n rare..
all in all Dil Chahtha Hai is one of a kind.. the magic it had can never be recreated..

*sigh* I can never forget the feelings I experienced when I watched it in the theaters for the first time 10 years back. It was wonderful.

My favorite character was Sid too. I would have slapped a character like Akash if it were not played by Aamir (he seems to make me love every character he's a jerk in). And Sameer was too adorable beyond words. Saif's definitely my favorite funny guy on and off screen. 😆
