Salman Khan suggests father roles to Sanjay Dutt!
A day after Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt had a scrap at a surprise party for Manaayata on Thursday night, the duo shot for a promo for Bigg Boss, directed by Rohit Shetty.
No one thought the shoot would take place given the drama of the previous night, but all is well now between the two. So much so, that they behaved as if nothing had happened at the shoot!
In the wee hours of Friday morning, at Sanju's wife Manaayata's surprise birthday party, the actors and long-time buddies got into an argument. Says a guest who was present when the incident took place, "The fight between Sanju's best buddy Bunty Walia and Salman has been reported, but few know that after Bunty left, Dutt and Khan too got into an argument. It started when Khan told the host that he should've acted as his father in Bodyguard, as his career as a lead actor was over. Everyone knows that Bodyguard is complete and that the father's role has been played by Jackie Shroff, so Salman was joking around. But Dutt didn't take kindly to this suggestion, as he is only a few years older then Salman. So he retorted that if he was desperately looking for someone to play his father, he should ask his own dad to do the role."
It didn't end there. Says our eyewitness, "Salman then suggested that Sanju's career would prosper if he sacked his business manager Dharam Oberoi and had his manager take on Sanju's work." The fact is that after Khan took the manager on, things dramatically improved for him. Sallu was probably advising Sanju in good faith, but Dutt didn't like the advice.
Sensing tension in the room, Riteish Deshmukh and Sajid Nadiadwala left the party. Sunil and Krishika Lulla, David Dhawan, Ashish Chowdhury, Rohit Jugraj and Jackky Bhagnani stayed back. Everyone expected a fight to break out but a little while later, Salman left with Zarine Khan.
On Saturday morning, the two actors were to shoot for a promo for Khan's reality show. Everyone thought it wouldn't happen following the Friday morning altercation. However, Salman called Sanju the next morning and cleared matters.
