SRK asked to pay hefty fine at Mumbai airport

Before Shah Rukh Khan managed to upset his fans and Shiv Sena by throwing a bash just two days after July 13 blasts, he had already run into trouble. While returning from London, the King Khan was detained at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport for carrying excess baggage. The actor had to pay a hefty fine of Rs 1.5 lakh.

Shah Rukh, along with his family, was returning from the Europe holiday on Thursday. On his arrival in Mumbai, the custom authorities halted him and later interrogated him as he was carrying as many as 20 bags. Later, the actor was allowed to leave after paying the fine.

According to eye-wintnesses, SRK didn't receive any special treatment as the custom officials treated him just like any ordinary citizen.

Filmstars being detained at airport is becoming a regular feature these days.
