I subscribe to her philosophy too because clearly, marriage is not mandatory. Till date, I haven't figured why people are so obsessed with marriage! It's a choice, provided you have found someone who you think might be able to put up with for the rest of your life. If she hasn't found someone like that yet, why should she drop her career and go out there looking for that guy? He will just fall into her lap if it's meant to be. A safe haven can be built without marriage too. There are friends, there are family members, there's work, there's new people to meet, there's travelling around the world with people. I mean, it's a big world. There's just so many things to do and experience! In the midst of all those things, marriage just seems like a that pesky distraction you could do without.

She's still young!...She has PLENTY of time. No need to rush into marriage...it'll happen when it'll happen. Good thing its not her priority yet...she should stick with that for now!(:

I think if marriage works for you then well and good. But what I can't stand are the stupid comments people make if a girl is not married. No matter how successful a girl is in her field/career some people will still look down upon her because she didn't conform to traditional expectations of being married by a certain age.

she will marry when she wants to. Some like to marry younger and some marry later.

my cuzion is 21 and is getting married next month. Everyone have a diff thinking.

Personally i wish to get married b/w 24-25, for me this is the ideal age.

Do ppl even expect her to get married? She is like 28 or 29 right. She still has time. I think its really annoying when ppl are so obsessed with marriage like her life or any women's life will only get better after getting a husband and giving birth. before marriage, it's the annoying questions about when are u getting married. ...after marriage...it's when are u having a baby.

^Exactly, I don't know about others but in my family education and career comes first and foremost. My parents have always taught me and my sister to be self sufficient, so that we are not depended on anyone if something goes wrong.

I know im marrying late, and im not even at actress. I have my educational dreams to fulfil. So why is everyone always after celebs and there marriage? Marriage for actresses is like... good-bye.

^Well marrying late is common nowadays, most want to complete their education and start their career before they jump into marriage. Most women want to be self sufficient, want to stand on their own feet and create an identity for themselves so that they are not depended on anyone.
