i loved Aisha too!! 😃 it was a total chick flick and i loved it! all the shopping, girl talk, match making, trips, parties etc...

really cute movie! 😊 but unforuntely in India chick flicks and heroine centric films are underrated! 👎🏼

We don't ALL live 24/7 in full makeup, short, tight club clothes and do-me shoes (apologies Priyanka, you know I still love ya 😉)

How about a film where a girl is trying to finish school but her parents want to get her married and her girlfriends plot to help her stay in school?
We need writers who aren't afraid to create a film that isn't a constant paean to how all-important guys and their attention are to a girl's existence.

kekta kapoor has been doing it on TV since long...and its been pure torture and nothing else😆

yeh...id love to see some gr8 female bonding films..

but then, you know...male bonding flicks are considered "cool and fun", whereas female bonding films are considered "chick flicks", which are stereotyped to be shallow and vain...

The thing is: Girls can watch films on male bonding and even identify with it..but most guys CANNOT watch a film on female bonding...they just cannot identify with it...

Hence, the market and the audience for a male bonding film is higher...which is why i guess, there are more of those.

Very true and I think it has to do with the perception that it is a man's world? I mean a lot of girls would love to be like a man or act like a man or live life like a man...but a man would hardly want to be like a girl...it's always uncool to act like a girl or do things that girls do. Although I can bet you that there are a lot of men (I do know quite a few of these) who would happily watch chick flicks but just will never admit it to anyone...they would love to have thick friends with whom they can share intimate details...but remember it's uncool to like/do girly things! Sigh!

But yes Aisha was made...yeah...I want more of Aisha type films...where the girls have fun and do their thang. It's cool to be a girl!!
