Shahid looked like my papa with the moustache'Sonam
Sonam, who seems to be quite upbeat about her forthcoming film 'Mausam', recently while launching the trailer of the flick said that when she first saw her co-star Shahid sporting a moustache, she felt that he looked like her father Anil Kapoor.
"When I saw him for the first time, he had a moustache, and I exclaimed that he looked just like my Papa! Considering I got to know Shahid when he had grown a moustache, I found it very weird when he didn't have one.
"Initially, I didn't talk to him because he would roam around in slippers and not very nice shoes. He was pretty casual. Over time, I have approved of his fashion standards," said the 'Aisha' star.
This would be the first time that Sonam will be seen romancing Shahid. 'Mausam', which is directed by Pankaj Kapoor, has Shahid portraying the character of an Air Force Officer, while Sonam essays the role of a village belle.
Speaking about 'Mausam', Sonam stated that the film is a love story and that she had a great time working in it and also hopes that the audience appreciates the film.
Sonam was to give a miss to the promos of 'Mausam'
When Shahid and Sonam arrived for the promos of 'Mausam' last week at Juhu PVR, both the stars became the talking point as they looked good together.
Initially, it was reported that Sonam had apparently planned to give a miss to the event, since she was supposed to shoot for Abbas-Mustan's 'Players'.
However, after much coaxing, the makers of 'Players' relented and Sonam managed to make it for the 'Mausam' trailer launch, but the actress later left to shoot for her next.
Praising Sonam for coming for the event, producer Sheetal Talwar stated, "It was great that Sonam could make it for the launch. After all Mausam is a love story and (the event) would have truly been incomplete without her."
Sonam educates Shahid on fashion
Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor seem to be in the spotlight ever since both of them came together to promote their forthcoming film 'Mausam'.
Incidentally, during the promotions, Shahid joked about Sonam's high end fashion standards by stating that he managed to learn about fashion after working with the actress.
"Sonam doesn't entertain people whose fashion standards don't match hers. You have to dress and look a certain way to get her approval. During the making of the film, I educated myself on fashion. I hope I have her stamp of approval now," said Shahid.
