i have been disappointed in her acting, except in delhi 6. But i still love her & dnt remember ever disliking her. I guess its hard to not like her lol...there's def something in her thts so magnetic :/

^Ya Delhi 6 really raised expectations! In comparison IHLS and Aisha do not live upto that although she was pretty good in both those films...so I was not disappointed. D6 is still her best performance in my eyes.

And ya there is something about her...pulls you in.

I know that I like Sonam because she comes across as a REAL person. Like a friend with whom you could have an interesting conversation with or someone with whom you can just bitch about something you both dislike!

Unlike a lot of actors/actresses in bollywood who are very proper, politically correct, too humble or give the same answers in all of their interviews (hint RK). I can never relate to these one-dimensional characters that they tend to project. Sonam comes across as a real, three dimensional person that you could actually be friends with.

She speaks her mind, reads books, is unabashedly fashionable, does not deny or put down the influence her father's name has, has a snarky sense of humor, still blushes when people compliment her in public... all in all, I can relate to her (except the rich dad part) .. and I think that's why most people like Sonam and want her to become a better actor and choose movies wisely. I certainly do!
