Inspite of being versatile and talented, Jimmy has never gotten his due. I love his subtle method of acting, it's so fresh and different ! Whether it's the handsome, suave, sophisticated Rohit from Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi, dil ka mareez in Munna Bhai or a volatile cop in A Wednesday... he's always impressed me ! I always wonder what quality Jimmy Shergill lacks that he hasn't been able to gain popularity or establish a fanbase ? What do you guys think?

I loved this guy in the movie, Yahaan!

He looked like a dream as the Army Officer posted in Kashmir and his acting was the tops!!!

Such a talented and good-looking bloke!

OMG they used to play that song with Minisha Lamba from that movie on B4U all the time. He looked so seductive.

I had a crush on him when I first saw the Resham se hai ye hawaayen sanam song. So cute :)

He is the Current HeartThrob and Biggest SuperStar of Punjabi Film Industry... All his films are big success over here... In Bollywood he couldn't make it so big... But in Punjabi movies he is magical...

As an Actor he has matured a lot... i am sure he will strike big in bollywood too if given right break...

Have you seen the movie? You must! Its a wonderful film! I cannot imagine why it did not get the recognition it deserved! It was shot entirely through hand-held Camera's and in real location in Kashmir...Jimmy Shergill was so wonderfully restrained in his role! I think its his best work till date! IMO, its one of the finest films made against the backdrop of Kashmir!

The song you are talking about is 'Naam Ada likhna'...I still have it on my Ipod and listen to it everyday! A beautiful composition and so well-picturized! Yes, he does look very seductive in the song! With that crew cut, army uniform and those brooding looks...😳

PS: He debuted with Macchis...had a small but very impactful role! I think, given the fact that he has no god-father or any industry background, he has done very well for himself!

Nope I havent seen the movie but I've seen that song and the other song over and over (the one where minisha changes a hundred outfits). They have a brilliant chemistry. That scene in the boat is just too sensual 😳
