Eraser - I am from Kolkata. Actually my parents are but I visit Kolkata quite often to see my gramma. Rossogolla and sandesh and prawn curry. "Oh.. how I miss Indian cuisine". I hate the Indian restaurants in USA. They have the same garam masala-tomato curry and put whatever ingredient you ask for in it.. lamb, fish, chicken, bhindi.

Billa - yup, it's your city indeed. Other than s**twalk, the major reason why I wanna go there is the bread pakoras. Yummy-O!

Relda - Kolkata? Cool. OMG prawn curry is so so good. I know how to make it real good but I'm sure it's incomparable to the one that you get over there. I love how diverse Indian food is, every state has it's own distinct cuisine.

Long story short.

A cop was presenting during some safety workshop on our campus. He said "I know I shouldnt say this but I'm gonna say it anyway..if girls dont wanna get sexually assaulted, they need to stop dressing like s**ts". We were beyond pissed and we collaborated with this other feminist organization on campus along with some other women to organize a protest in Toronto, calling it the "s**tWALK" and our point was to show that doesnt matter how you dress up like, no one has the right to sexually assault you. Also, the Toronto police should stop being so offensive and stop calling women s**ts. Actually, most of the work was done by 5 women, we were mostly in the background but yeah. That protest was so successful (with more than 5000 people coming to it) that it spread all over the world in more than 60 cities I think. Now it;s happening in Delhi.

Billa.. you are from Delhi? I went there last year. Thre is this place called Sarojini market.. I got branded tops for 150 rupees!!. I wish I could go there again.

No prob :) Hanji, and that one comment was so offensive, that too coming from a high rank policeman. If I get raped and if I wanna report to the police, then I wouldnt be comfortable dealing with a cop who judges me by what I wear. Rape is rape, doesnt matter what the girl was wearing. So yeah, I better stop or else I'll go on and on and on 😳

You know that place??? I felt like I was in heaven.. so many stuff and soo cheap. You are so lucky to enjoy Delhi food everyday.. the chaats and kebabs and everything. Next time I am in Delhi I will ask you for good suggestions for restaurants and street food.
