Prachi winning for OUTIM, seriously i hate when they are giving award for 10 mins roles, in my eyes she is not deserving, i think kareena in WAF deserve that award more then Prachi but anyways award are always biased on Box office numbers and talent do no matter

SRK...Check...
Kjo... Check...
Arjun... Check...
PC... Check...
Lovely...Everyone in SRK's camp is covered... Buy one SRK and get 3 awards free for your cronies seem to be the mantra of the IIFA...
Seriously... Arjun over someone like Arshad ( Isquiya)... So it does help keeping both doors open...
And HR is officially out of the award circuit...Great...Bahuth din tak usko bhi faltu mein awards they were giving... Looks like he is out of SRK's good books too... No wonder he did not turn up this year at the IIFA and only Ma Roshan, Pa Roshan and Sis Roshan attended... Othewise I see him almost every year at the IIFA...
And SRK had to win...No surprises there... He danced...He entertained... He kept all the other stars away... He came inspite of his dard baraa knee... He had to be awarded... Good for him...
I do like most of SRK's movies but his performance in MNIK was pretty average compared to his opther movies...
Same with Dabangg too... The movie was entertaining but no great acting chops from Salman either... Neither Salman nor SRK are award worthy for their movies last year...
And a best music award for Dabangg over movies like Aisha and Udaan... Wierd...
I am glad Kajol did not attend otherwise by default the best actress would have gone to her when all she did in MNIK was ham away to glory... I am glad Anushka won... She and Vidya were the worthy ones for this year...

Lensa ... Frankly I wasnt rooting for any one in particular... These awards have become very predictable so i knew it would be SRK...
But i still wanted to complain and thats why the rant from me... LOL...😆
But the deserving one and its just my opinion, from the nomination list it would be Ajay in OUATIM...
He was very convincing in that role...
I even liked Rajat Barmecha in Udaan too...Even he was very convincing in the role...You could feel his pain...
Regarding SRK, I generally like his performances... But for some reason I just could not connect with him in MNIK... Something was missing...

^ yeah I wasn't too crazy about SRk in MNIK either. I don't know lately he hasn't been impressing me..I didn't like him Don either. I think Ajay Devgan in OUATIM is deserving too. But because SRK is more popular the award went to him i guess. You had no idea how many ppl were screaming for him when he won. I guess sometimes, these awards are also about satisfying the actors who has the most fans. Ajay most of the times, he is sidelined because he doesn't have the fan base SRK has.

Oh yeah HR wasn't there, but SRK didn't miss a chance to make his presence felt at the awards. He had ppl clapping for duggu. 😆

Oh yeah... He is popular and that too among the south asian population outside India... His ranking may have come down in India but overseas, he is still Number 1... And he is an entertainer on stage...He manages to grab all the attention...
Thats exactly the reason why the other stars like Salman, Akki, HR etc stayed away from IIFA...
And regarding these awards...Its all business... Who will watch the show if Ajay gets an award and if he attends the show... He just does not command the same amount of popularity..the star power what SRK has... Same with other actors too...
You need someone who can attract the eyeballs... The event organisers have to make money...the TV channels have to make money... Its all business... And who gets in the moolah... Stars like SRK and Salman do that...
BTW... Where did you watch it... YT?? I have to go catch up on it...

Yeah exactly what I meant in bold Maddy. No it's not YT. I watched it yesterday while it was going on. Someone posted the livestream link on the IFFA pic section on this forum. I don't think you can watch it now though.

They said it was gonna air on July on starplus. 😊

Here is the link to the livestream..it says the livestream is over: https://serveronline.weebly.com/iifa-live.html
