Prithviraj Chauhan begins

Master of period drama Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi has started scripting his yet another ambitious project Prithviraj Chauhan. Sunny Deol has agreed to play the title role. And the location hunting for the film is already on. "Yes its true, Sunny is excited about the project," says an equally excited Dr. Dwivedi. "We are halfway through the script and are hoping to finish it by 10th March," he informs us. The shooting of the film might happen in Kazakhstan.

The project has created a lot of excitement and three corporate houses have already shown interest in backing it. Dr. Chandraprakash has also planned to release the script of the film in the form of a book, " The problem with classics is that a lot of people who come to see the film have not read the book, so if a book based on script and dialogues is released before the film the audiences can relate to the film and can understand it properly," he explains. The script might also be published serially in one of the leading dailies. However, Dr. Dwivedi's project does see a threat from Rajkumar Santoshi's project "I don't understand why have they started taking so much interest in the subjecthowever I am continuing my work," informs Dr. Dwivedi.

i heard rajkumar santoshi is also interested in making a movies on the legendary rajput king Prithviraj Chauhan, i hope we don;t end up getting 2 Prithviraj Chauhan movies at the same time like we did with bhagat singh
