Check out:Shahid and Sonam in Mausam[Updated]

Pankaj Kapur's directorial debut Mausam is one of the most eagerly awaited films this year. The film which has been in news for its delayed release is an intense love story and brings together the fresh pair of Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor. It is the first film in which the father-son duo is working together.




The film is shot in some exotic locales like Scotland, Edinburgh Switzerland, London and Punjab. In the film, Shahid and Sonam's characters travel over a period of twelve years which starts in 1992 & ends in 2003. Their love story starts when the boy and girl are seventeen years of age and it goes on till they are in their thirties. Shahid essays the role of Harry whereas Sonam's character's name is Aayat. The movie also stars Aditi Sharma, Supriya Pathak and Anupam Kher in supporting roles.


Looking at this still one feels like crooning 'Yeh Haseen Vadiyan, Yeh Khula Aasma'. As you can see Shahid is playing the role of an Air Force officer and Sonam an innocent Kashmiri girl. Shahid and Sonam have four different looks in the film. The different looks represent the four seasons in a year, moving from summer to Winter, Autumn to Spring.



This still looks like its right out from a romantic novel, reminiscent of a bygone era, very much like a portrait. Sonam's red shawl and flower in her hair just add to her elegance.

Staying true to its name 'Mausam', this is the much talked about rain sequence. The chemistry between the lead pair is electrifying in this picture.

Ever since it was announced, the film has been in the news for various reasons one of them being Shahid's look. With Shahid showing off his well toned physique in this film, his female fans are surely in for a treat.



Both Shahid and Sonam look great in these stills. We definitely can't wait for this Mausam to come.

The first theatrical trailer of Mausam will be launched on June 24 [with Double Dhamaal], while the second trailer will be launched on July 15 [with Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara]. Mausam hits the screens on September 9.

This movie is oddly appealing, and Shahid has grown on me lately anyways. Pankak Kapur is fantastic.

June 24. That's not too far. Wow, didn't expect that. Am excited to see it. Shahid and the director seemed like they worked really hard on this movie..hard work means good movie most of the times. And shahid is awesome in romantic films.

hey guyz,,,sorry to be a wet blanket but the news on twitter says that mausams trailer has been postponed to be released with ZNMD and not double dhamaal. So the 15th of next month..
