so, this would be day 01 for me, i guess... let's see... my favourite movie... my first choice is Sholay, of course...!! 😃

it has the best characters ever in hindi cinema... it's the perfect movie, with perfect blend of everything... i can watch it anytime... when we were kids, we would watch at least once in a week... sometimes, two to three times in a week...! 😃😃

Day 6 - A Film that Reminds You of Somewhere

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge

All the parts in the movie where SRK and Kajol are in Switzerland, reminds me all the time I have spent my days there. My family and I used to go there every summer when I was a kid so I have very fond childhood memories there. One time when we were watching DDLJ we pointed out all the places SRK and Kajol were seen at. 😆

day 15 - a film that describes you

Ahhh now thats tough... personally a character that I can relate to from a movie in recent times is Konkona's from Wake up Sid... woman who wants to make her own mark but wants to have someone to share her sucess with... woman who isnt very expressive when it comes to the matters of heart but gets hurt when she isnt understood...woman who is house proud with a streak of OCD 😈...also someone who loves Bombay.. and rains and her kurtas (which have to be handwashed)...😆...

Sholay reminds me of all the cabbies I end up talking to, after a weekend party 😆 Most of them being from African Continent, they love desi movies and Sholay tops their list too. 😛😉

day 14 - a film noone would expect you to love

An old Rajnikanth film from 1995. People always get thrown off when i tell them i love this film. Its funny, with a great story, has heart and a wonderful soundtrack from Rahman. I remember as a kid i had a blast watching it and I recently re-watched it and i enjoyed it just as much. I'm not a Rajni fan and all out insane southie masala is not my thing but I love this movie, it perfectly captures why people go crazy for him and i feel like films arn't written the same way anymore.

day 16 - a film that you used to love but now dislike

I like this film because the first half of shows a lot of rich indian culture. I dislike it now, because i'm tired of watching it. 😆

Yup, it is a very touching movie... The best thing abt this movie for me, is not the social/political subject it touches, but the beautiful relation between the little girl and her adopted parents 😃
