"Parineeta" was also really well done. Not to mention 3 Idiots, it didnt stick to the exact story but it was a phenomenal movie.

Side Note: I thought Dev D was a better adaptation than Devdas...love Devdas to death, but the realist touch was very refreshing!

i loved Dev.D, its very interesting putting shahrukhs devdas and abhays dev.d next to each other and seeing the differences. I love both, Dev.D would be more of a personal favourite, but each film is so well done in its own way.

Agreee!!!!! Both were good, and I love them both b/c one had my fav SRK-Aishu and the other my dimpy!!!!! I loved how the same story can be told from 2 completely different perspectives...it was a total 180...loved the whole idea that Dev can move on and does, Paro isn't as innocent and def not the epitome of pride/prestige, and Chandramukhi isn't a complete paradox!
