"So I am allowed to do that but she is not?" he questions, surprised that such outdated reactions still exist
👏
Oh he is such a good husband - he needs to hold classes on how to treat a wife.

ppl always say he's lucky to have her, but I always feel she's so lucky to have such a caring and understanding man...he's so amazing in so many ways!!

@Maddy : I agree...perfect hubby material!!! I don't think everyone else even comes close! (IMO of course)!

I disagree with ppl that Raavan was pathetic...I thought it was artistic and the tamile version was way better b/c Vikram stole the show like no one's business!!!

But BTW: Just wanted to make a point that western critics didn't tear it apart like the Indian critics did...the screening got Mani Ratnam a Standing Ovation at the Venetician Film Festival...so there is an audience out there that appreciated it even though the Indian audience didn't it...just saying...even my film professor (non-Indian) went to go see it and she enjoyed it very much...surprisingly she liked it more than Mani Ratnam's Guru! So different tastes for different kinds of ppl!

I loved raavan in spite of Abhi and Ash's over acting mainly because it was a visual delight.
After Dil Se it was the best shot Indian movie. Mani got it absolutely wrong with Abhi's interpretation of Bheera.

Hi Prags
still hogging away to glory in India ? 😊 I was so jealous when I read your posts about eating chaat and Hyderabadi dum biryani. Eat a few extra helpings for me 😉 Enjoy the rest of your stay there. Hope you got to do some shopping as well. Have a safe trip back home.

Hi Rosh. 🤗

It's been amazing so far. There are no weddings to attend this time so the whole trip gas been chilled out.
Weather has been unbearable so far though, ESP Chennai.

Hope you are well.

I 100% agree...if abhi was replaced with someone much stronger I think the film would have hard a bigger impact...plus they should have played out the kidnap a bit differently than her running around and him chasing her...but I liked the little fight scene they had!
