Anushka, Asin, Deepika, Sonam - who has achieved? - Page 2

Anushka is the most obvious title holder for 'best actress', she also seems to not be concerned with being glamorous or having a diva image, she comes off as a young girl trying to achieve success in an industry she is new to in the most reasonable way possible : acting well, choosing the right films, maintaining a good personality.

I personally see a lot of spark in Sonam and think she should be picking better films, maybe even try her hand at serious roles instead of commercial ones, she was very watchable in Delhi 6 even Saawariya, and i thought the movies bombed because of the movie itself, not really the cast.

I like Asin, she's a good actress and she's extremley popular in South India, so i don't think she's activley battling to be the queen of bollywood, she has a fair amount of success even without that title, and i think Ready is probably going to make her more popular but not the bollywood "it" girl that kareena or priyanka are dubbed as. I also don't think Asin is aiming for that sort of success either, she's again just trying her hand in bollywood, trying to be a good actress and well-liked.

Deepika is sweet, somewhat naive, and very beautiful. If anything i think she's going to keep getting roles even if she has flops, and i still don't know my ultimate opinion on her, it goes up and down.

Even though she's not my fav, Deepika BY FAR is the most popular and has achieved the most.

Please. I can agree when people say Sonam gets movies because of her dad blah blah blah...because connections are indeed important in getting these things. But popularity does not come with the family tag....Sonam gained her popularity because she worked her PR LOL and used her fashion and photoshoots to grab attention. That much is her own doing! Anil Kapoor cannot make her fashion work or her photoshoots work or for that matter make her dance with a pigeon on her head which made her a household name! She had to those things on her own. Anushka was not popular because she wasn't using her PR well...she has just begun to understand the whole thing....initially Sonam also didn't use her PR well...the girl went into hiding after Saawariya which wasn't helping her popularity at all!

Deepika: Known more for her relationships than her movies! 😆

Asin: Hasn't done many moves in the last 3 years... but good actress however not yet a star in bollywood!

Sonam: though a lot of her movies havent worked out she still has a huge fan following and is a well know actress! she had a star quality and is the fashionista of bollywood!!

based on number of movies and fame deepika has achieved more but i think anushka and sonam are at the same level even though anushka acts better sonam has the star power, larger fan following and shes a fashion icon! asin hasnt done much in bollywood so i think she has achieved the least out of the others...

based on popularity it would be...

2. sonam
3. anushka
4. asin (but more popular in the south, not bollywood audience)

Deepika- The only one movie I liked of hers was OSO. Her other movies disappointed me. But she has a long way to go & shes quite popular. But I hope she gets stardum on d basis of her merit & not for all her affairs.

Sonam - I agree she might not be the best actress in Bollywood and she still has a long way to go but I see potiental in her. I think with each of her movies, she's improving A LOT. Also I love her choice in movies. Saawariya would always be one of my favorites, I absolutely LOVED her as Bittu in D6. In IHLS we saw a complete new look for her and than Aisha is well Aisha. Even in Thank You, for me, she was the only barable thing in the movie along with Rimi Sen. I love that each of her roles are so different and some might not have worked with the audience but she still went to do them. I find her to have a GREAT personality and love that she says whatever comes to her mind. She has a great fashion sense and I love her photoshoots. Yes maybe in the beginning, she was known as Anil Kapoor's daughter but now when I think about Sonam, I don't think about who her father is and neither do most people.

i dont know why people say sonam cant act ............her style of talking in movies is same as she talks in real life......childish way of talking..........

The fIlm industry is very intuitive...They always pick the winning horse..Media gets payed by the stars ..they dont pay the stars like producers,so they almost ALWAYS get it wrong!

Many started with flops like Kajol,Rani,Karishma,Priyanka..that too B grade small films.

They got immediately picked by big shots.

Others Like Ameesha Asin Anushka never impressed the Top directors...despite their blockbuster debuts.


Watch the quality of directors ,actors the actresses get after their debuts to know where they are heading...

....especially after delivering the flops.. Kareena has said that only those who thrive despite their flops are the true stars..any film can be a hit or flop..it is what the actor contributes to the film that matters..Similar to reality shows like Apprentice...The team may fail,but the individual should stand out..
