No intimacy, says Salman Khan

Salman Khan's next film, which is a remake of the 2009 Telugu blockbuster Kick, has gone into serious script revision due to the overt romantic content.

Having watched the intimate scenes between Ravi Teja and Ileana D'Cruz in the original, Salman quipped at the thought of having to follow suit in the remake with Sonakshi Sinha. He has asked for the scenes to be modified completely.

The actor, who refrains from such scenes otherwise, is more particular this time round as it is with Sinha, who is 22 years his junior.

A source tells us, "Salman has always been very careful as far as romantic scenes are concerned. But with Sonakshi he has to be doubly careful. He treats her like a child. There was almost no physical intimacy at all between him and Sonakshi in Dabangg."

One look at the aggressive romantic frisson between Ravi Teja and Ileana D'Cruz in the Telugu Kick and Salman told producer Sajid Nadiadwala, "Bhai, yeh nahin chalega."

Rajat Arora who wrote the old-world romantic sequences between Ajay Devgn and Kangna Ranaut in Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai has been summoned to modify and mute the physical element in the romantic scenes of Kick. Says a source, "Salman was impressed by the way Ajay courted Kangna in Once Upon A Time…He wanted a similar restrain and mellow quality in his courtship with Sonakshi in Kick."

Producer Nadiadwala admits that Kick is now in the process of being re-written by Rajat Arora. "We are retaining the basic idea of a guy who does everything that gives him a kick.

But a lot of the sections are being re-written. With Sonakshi, Salman's equation would be very restrained.

This time it would be more so. Beyond that I can't give any more details."
