It's not about being 45 and in the lead, that's not the problem the problem is when a 45 year old tries to portray himself as a 20 something year old young lover kind a role, which is what a lot of of Yash Chopra films are based on.I hope in this one Yashji makes him play a character close to his age. And actually I think in the past the hero's that were in their 50's and tried to portray themselves as much younger made fools of themselves, it's time our Bollywood male actors started playing roles of their ages and that goes for everyone not just SRK.

But in the yash raj movie veer zaara, he played really old man that was remember he's younger days. I'm glad he played both the old and the young character role. I thought he did a great job. But I'm a bias fan who thinks SRK is the best in bollywood so don't mind my comments...lol

Anyways my point was, I just don't want him to play a character that's way younger than his actual age, also since he looks his age now, so passing of as a 20 something will no longer work.

Anyways good luck to Yashji and SRK for the film.

I know right. I don't want them to work together. I don't want Kat' movie to be a hit and don't wanna a Shahrukh's movie to flop. Tough situation

SRK in a Yash Chopra film. What year is this, 1995? :)

Anyway, SRK likes to stick to his buddies so no surprises here. I just hope there is an age-appropriate heroine opposite him. But I probably shouldn't hold my breath.

It's great that Yash Chopra is directing again! I'm looking forward to this film.

I sincerely hope that SRK's character will be close to his real life age this time, and that he will be paired opposite a heroine who doesn't look like she could be his niece/daughter.

Speaking of which, I've got nothing against Katrina but she and SRK would make a very odd pair. I'd rather see him with Kajol/Madhuri/Rani/Priety. Katrina looks better with the likes of Ranbir/Imran/etc.

Then again, Yash Chopra's movies do tend to extract decent chemistry out of their couples, so maybe SRK-Kat could work. I guess time will tell.
