And the God of Indian Cinema Raj kapoor to me over acts in most scenes..I cant take his over the top emotion...

So Destiny has something written for each of them.Who knows what they will achieve in future!!

I agree that Vidya wouldn't suit those kinda roles but whatever role she picks you can't find fault in the way she acts...I think she knows her limitations and picks a role that suit her and does it well. Everyone can't do all type of roles...

According to me her acting in Heybabyy and KK was not bad...the only thing that didn't match was her costume.

Anyways everyone has their own perspective 😃

agree with Ms. De' , vidya is top notched and has wide range....unlike kajol, rani, kareena, priyanka and any other actress in this decade....

Vidya is not restricted by her roles / acting capabilities! In terms of pure performane, Vidya perhaps is the only actor next to Kareena who has the maximum range in today's scenario! What limits Vidya is her physical appearance!

She wasn't bad in Hey Baby or Kismat Konnection, she just didn't look the part, dressed in trendy western clothes and hence that overshadowed her acting!

I don't find Sonam or Deepika to be bad actors! I would rather define them as being indifferent as actors, the types who don't leave any impression, good or bad!

Sonam infact, was pretty decent in Dilli 6 and even in Aisha (a tailor made role for her)! Now if she chooses to harp about her designer clothes and bags all the time, then it is but obvious, that no one is going to take her seriously, ever!

Even Kareena is very fashion concious, but she never lets her style statement overshadow her talent and acting! Hence, people talk about her peformances rather than what designer lable she was wearing in a certain film!

It is Sonam's call to project herself in a certain way! If she wants herself to be seen as a high-fashion diva and not as an actor, then that is it! Obviously, the likes of Shobha De are going to pick upon that! Its their job to do so!

Sure Vidya is a wonderful actor, but comparing her to Sridevi and suggesting that she is better, is a bit ridiculous to say the least!

PS: And Sridevi could dance like hell and could even make a Hat decorated with Grapes to be a fashion statement! (Mr. India...Hawa Hawai song) Vidya ends up looking like a Behenji turned mod if she even wears a pair of skinny jeans!

Shobha would go to any extent, in desperation she'd even gossip about her daughter for media consumption, in a bid to keep her position, she'll be toppled pretty soon by Masand :)
