Shobhaa De started it. She is nasty when it comes to the ones she loathes. It's fine to air your dislike but this constant viciousness could get anyone. Deepika chose to ignore it and that's her way to deal with it whereas Sonam retaliated, I believe she RTed somebody's tweet and for once I agree with her stance. She later apologized too though in my opinion Mrs. De doesn't deserve that apology.

In our culture, there's too much emphasis on respecting the elder even if they are offensive and boorish. I think respect should be mutual. Respect earns respect.

Anyway, it's better to ignore baits from people like Shobhaa De. She thrives on such publicity.

The tweet Sonam RTed was Punit's tweet saying how Shobha De was an old fossil who wanted some action and should be ignored...something like that...and Sonam tweeted 'Haha! You're hilarious' but minutes later they both deleted their tweets...

And coming to these two...what I think is Shobhaa says some thing and Sonam retaliates... and that ignites Shobhaa more and the vicious circle continues between them...

What happened with Deepika was she ignored it and that made Shobhaa shut up... So off late she has not targetted DP much...

Whatever Shoba De has said is truly pathetic but then what about Sonam bringing up everyone's upbringing? Who is she to judge some one's parenting skills and character?
