Some people are calling her old lady so what are SRK, Amir, Akki, Saif, salman? she is definitely younger than all theses khans!

Agreed that she is a good actress/dancer and is worth the money. However, she's not much of a crowd-puller anymore. I think people would rather go and watch Kareena or Katrina's movies than Madhuri's. It's unfortunate, but that is how Indian Cinema works. Once you disappear for a while, its hard to comeback. One of her contemporaries, Rani, made it back with much effort and time (and she is still struggling a bit). However, I don't know if Madhuri is willing to take her time, win the audience again, and star in a good film.

So basically.. yes she should get 5 crs for a movie.. but the filmmakers might give those 5 crs to someone who actually can actually get a crowd in the theater.

Well to be frank Madhuri deserves 5 crores but no1 will pay her so much simply because she is not crowd puller!! We complain that there is no meaningful cinema but when one such film is made it bombs at the box office as the audience finds it boring!!!

Our films are only focused on youth!! We prefer young actresses, today PC / Bebo/KAt rule after 5 years they too will be labelled as 'old' something which Rani / Preity / Karishma are facing now or will face in next 1- 2 yrs.

The main problem lies in the audience as they are not ready to accept an actress in her early 30s, no film maker wants risk making such a film!

Best option for Madhuri wud be TV - if a serial is written keeping her in mind she can be the next Tulsi or Prerna!!😆

I think Madhuri can still comeback with a bang. Her last movie didn't do well because of the story but the songs were so popular and her name was mentioned everywhere. She deserves to get paid more. Madhuri ruled the industry for 25 years and I think she can make it another 25 years if she stays

Why Madhuri, IMO no actors deserve that much of money, considering how shockingly unequal the society is. But then again...the film producers aren't there for charities; they are there for the profit...so yeah, fair or unfair, that is how it is and will continue to be.
