Hey all.
I apologise in advance for knowing next to nothing about Bollywood. If I break any forum rules I'm sorry, but I've read the relevent thread so I should be fine.I hope you guys can help me 😊. My girlfriend's birthday is coming up and I was hoping to get her an Indian film. I was thinking of getting her what she's said is her favourite film--but I can't remember the name .
Basically, it's about the Partition. The storyline, as I recall, is based on a Muslim girl who's stuck south of the border and a Sikh guy who protects her. They were childhood friends, I think. I saw a clip where he marries her inpromptu (making her Silkh, evidently) to protect her from being killed.
Oh, and the name is two sylables, starting with 'G'.
The above information is true as far as I can recall. I'd love to get her this movie if I could, so if any of you have any suggestions about what its title is it'd be massively, massively apreciated.
